Sadness :(

My grandmother died last Thursday night. She has been battling cancer for about 8 years and had beat it once and was doing pretty good this time considering. But my grandfather died in June and she died with him. She slowly lost it after he was gone. She wasn't her anymore...it was so sad. She went to live with my mom who took care of her till she was gone. I am soooo sad. I can't believe they are both gone. I love them and miss them so much. We will be burying her tomorrow afternoon. I have been pretty numb since my mom called me but I think I will lose it tomorrow. I know this was pretty rambly but It had to come out the way it came out. Thanks for reading.

Brother Sewing Machines and what I got for a gift

I got a sewing machine for my holiday gift this year and I am so excited. I was looking at a site about them called wize.com and they have some pretty awesome ones listed. If I had known about this site before the holidays I would have asked for a Brother Sewing machine specifically. They have really great prices too. And as far as I know Brother is a pretty reliable brand. But I am new to sewing so what do I know...lol.
My dd2 is cloth diapered and I LOVE buying pretty cloth diapers so I figured having a sewing machine would be handy. I could learn how to sew and make my own cloth diapers instead of spending a big $$$ buying from other WAHMs. Oh and this site wize.com also has an embroidery machine. Which would be sooooooo cool. You could embroider anything. Shirts, diapers, blankets, pillows, baby clothes.....sigh....OK well I need to learn how to sew first....lol. Right now I am trying to learn how to knit and then I am moving on the my sewing machine.
You should check out the Brother Sewing Machines at Wize.com. Esp if you are looking to buy a new one because the ones they have look pretty nice and some are computerized. OK, well I don't know how impressive this really is because like I said I have owned a sewing machine for like....ummm...2 weeks...lol. I had one of those old fashion dodads with the foot pedal when I was little and that was cool to use. But I digress...I need to go play with my knitting I will blab more later.

Grrrr!!!

OK so it's like 3 days till Xmas and my stupid bank is double dipping for a withdrawal that shouldn't have been taken out anyway. It was an inital $700+ hit and now it's a $1400+ hit. So now I have to call the bank when I wake up and fight with them to give me my money back because they are trying to pay something twice. Grrrr!!! Right now our account is -$200 because of this. I am sooooo mad. What the hell kind of mistake is this? It's bad enough the a--holes Pressler and Pressler took $700+ out the week before Xmas but now the bank has to mess it up and do it twice. I am not finished shopping and now we don't have the money in our account to finish with. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this is over. I can't have them messing things up like this with money. Stupid commerce bank!!!! OK small rant over.
ETA: I spoke to the bank today and they had it fixed in like seconds. So yay to commerce bank today!!
